Last week some people from our room had an idea for a free carwash for our Pay It Forward Project and it worked. On Saturday some kids from out class held a free carwash for the community. We didn't have a great amount of cars at the start but later on we had heaps! We didn't have many breaks but that was alright because it was fun getting wet and washing the cars. When we finished we had coke and lollies and were given $44.00 in the end as donations from the community so we are going to PAY IT FORWARD to the 'Heart Kids Foundation' because Zac in our class is raising money for this organisation at the moment. (Heart Kids is a donation company that supports kids with heart problems). We washed over 27 cars in 2 hours (not including Mrs Shakeshafts car). We made alot of peoples day and Mrs Shakeshaft's sister brought us cola ice blocks and a lovely lady Chris knows gave us moro golds"mmmmmm yummy". We gave up our own time to do this and it was a good idea.
